Urban Green is not so much an organization or an entity as it is a set of shared community- and Earth-centered values put into practice. Our mode is partnership. Our joy is found in a vibrant, thriving community where there’s a place for everyone.

The Trolley Trail is a partnership project involving the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District (NCPRD), Metro, the cities of Milwaukie and Gladstone, and the Clackamas County and Oak Lodge sanitary and water districts. Community partners include the citizen-based Friends of the Trolley Trail, and various neighborhood associations and civic groups.

Oregon Main Street is a Main Street America™ Coordinating Program.  Oregon Main Street and Main Street America work with communities to develop comprehensive, incremental revitalization strategies based on a community’s unique assets, character, and heritage. The goal is to build high quality, livable, and sustainable communities that will grow Oregon’s economy while maintaining a sense of place.

The Oak Lodge History Detectives are "investigating the past, and enriching the future," with the goal of promoting an appreciation of local history in the Oak Lodge area. We compile and share the history of Oak Grove, Jennings Lodge and the adjacent Concord and Oatfield Ridge neighborhoods.

The Oak Grove Community Council (OGCC) serves to bring together people with a common concern for the Oak Grove Community and to aid the Oak Grove Community in preserving and enhancing neighborhoods. The OGCC works to inform citizens in the Oak Grove area of proposed developments and/or changes in land use that will affect the area, and to provide  our community with a vehicle for establishing organized, two-way communications with public agencies and governmental organizations.
